to the Exchange Studios Web site. Our Live/Work Lofts are
very energy efficient units with double paned windows,
full bathrooms and kitchens, and plenty of open functional
space. We have a keypad secured entry with gated remote
access parking (1 space included), as well as two laundry
rooms (coin-operated). We are nested in between the Fruitvale
area and Park Street bridge, which enters into Alameda.
Our location is a little over a mile to the Fruitvale BART. Sorry, our building
does not allow dogs. Please view some of the pictures and if you are interested

HISTORY
OF EXCHANGE STUDIOS
Exchange Studios is a 39 unit live/work building. Originally built in 1925
and the home of Exchange Linen Service for many years, the building underwent
considerable renovation and became Exchange Studios in September, 1994.
LIVING
AT EXCHANGE STUDIOS
There are three floor plans. Each unit has a full kitchen (dishwasher, stove,
refrigerator, garbage disposal) and large complete bathrooms (wheelchair accessible).
Remote entry parking in the enclosed lot, security entry system, large interior
landscaped courtyard with fountain and seating area. Coin operated laundry
facilities are located on each floor. Double paned windows for added security,
noise reduction and energy efficiency. Management pays for water, including
hot water. Rents start at $1,350.00 per month. Sorry no dogs. Security deposits are 1 1/2 months rent.
